Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Melfighi forces Equilibrium back against the cage and clinches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Melfighi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Melfighi lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Equilibrium.
Equilibrium has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Melfighi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Melfighi throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Equilibrium tries for a takedown but Melfighi manages to get underhooks.

Equilibrium tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Melfighi smiles and moves away.
A head kick by Melfighi - that's a beauty! Equilibrium is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Melfighi can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
