Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sierrra throws a lazy right hand but Gaspard sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gaspard tries to clinch but Sierrra moves out of range.

A little jabbing left from Gaspard on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Sierrra throws a hook but Gaspard avoids it easily.

We've been told by Sierrra's head coaches at Canucks Combat Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Sierrra's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mateo Sierrra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gaspard wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Gaspard cracks Sierrra with a big right hand and Sierrra goes down!
Sierrra is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gaspard not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Oh Sierrra is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Let's hope that Gaspard has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Gaspard passes into half guard.
Sierrra looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Sierrra seems to have got his legs back now.
Gaspard wants to free his trapped foot but Sierrra is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jean Luc Gaspard will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gaspard drops his shoulder and cracks Sierrra with a huge uppercut! Sierrra goes down! Can Gaspard finish him?
Sierrra looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sierrra throws the left hand but Gaspard avoids the punch easily.

Gaspard uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sierrra.

and Gaspard counters with a huge left! Sierrra is in big trouble! He's backing up but Gaspard isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Sierrra from any more damage. A dominating finish by Gaspard!
