Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Tonioli (ranked 897 p4p, 1094 weight class) and Fredrik White (ranked 114 p4p, 144 weight class). White has chosen Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vinicius Tonioli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fredrik White!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White avoids the body shot from Tonioli.
White takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
White closes the distance and pushes Tonioli back into the cage.
Tonioli softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Tonioli lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Tonioli definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tonioli manages to break the clinch.
White closes the distance and clinches.
White swings wildly with an uppercut but Tonioli uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tonioli pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
White misses with a shot to the body
and Tonioli connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
White misses with a hook. Tonioli ducked under it nicely.
Tonioli throws a big counter combination but White scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
White closes the distance and pushes Tonioli back into the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tonioli lands a hook that snaps the head of White backwards.
It looks like Fredrik White has been cut.
White throws a punch but it's blocked by Tonioli.
White told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Tonioli lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
White tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Tonioli controlling the action here for a moment.
White throws a head punch that misses.
Tonioli lands a right hand.
White lands with a left to the head.
Tonioli breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
White misses with a hook
enabling Tonioli to counter with a crisp jab.
White swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tonioli counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops White! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Tonioli!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vinicius Tonioli!
