PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dundee Beasley (ranked 4341 p4p, 4197 weight class) and Royce Gracioao (ranked 172 p4p, 164 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracioao fails with an attempt to clinch.
No luck for Beasley with that takedown attempt.
Gracioao shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Beasley counters with a series of strikes. Gracioao will be more careful next time no doubt.
Beasley is looking to land body kicks.
Gracioao moves in looking to clinch but Beasley pushes him off.

Beasley shoots in looking for a takedown but Gracioao manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Beasley's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Gracioao tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Beasley defends well and Gracioao ends up having to push Beasley into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Beasley manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Gracioao keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Beasley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That was a close round but I would say that Dundee Beasley will probably get the nod.

Let's hope that Gracioao has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
