Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thaddeus Reese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts has chosen ridda as his entrance music. Jake Roberts is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Roberts!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reese has Roberts up against the cage in a clinch.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Reese just misses with a elbow thrown towards Roberts's brow.

Roberts drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Reese manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Roberts has Reese in his guard.

Roberts is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Reese is aware though and is defending well.

Roberts is working to tighten is grip on Reese's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Reese has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Roberts is really squeezing tight and eventually Reese passes out! Roberts breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
