Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Feather Jay Jones (ranked 4121 p4p, 2921 weight class) and Malakai Fitzgerald (ranked 0 p4p, 233 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones jabbing away but nothing is landing.
And Fitzgerald tries to counter it with a takedown but Jones pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Jones throws a hook to the side of Fitzgerald's head but Fitzgerald sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Fitzgerald is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
