Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Perry Manson (ranked 22775 p4p, 2058 weight class) and Alonzo Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wagner comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Coma kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Perry Manson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alonzo Wagner!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner scores with a jab to the jaw.
Manson leaves Wagner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Manson is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Alonzo Wagner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Manson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wagner has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Manson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Manson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Manson throws a leg kick
and Wagner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wagner.
Manson wants to sweep but no luck.
Wagner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Manson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Manson wants to stand and escape but Wagner is having none of it.
Wagner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Wagner slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Manson stuffs the takedown attempt from Wagner. Wagner gets slowly back to his feet.
Wagner scores with a nice head shot.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Manson misses with a hook to the body
and Wagner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Manson's guard.

Wagner grinds an elbow into Manson's temple.
Wagner has hold of Manson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Manson seems comfortable defending it but Wagner has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Manson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Manson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Wagner couldn't care less - he's delighted!
