The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Asch pushes Bogo away with a front kick.
Bogo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Van Asch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bogo.
Van Asch connects with a looping right hand.
Van Asch throws a leg kick but Bogo sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Bogo fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Van Asch checks it well.
Bogo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Van Asch has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts in the buildup to the fight.
Bogo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Van Asch.

Bogo lands with a kick to the temple. Van Asch shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Bogo tries a head kick but it misses.
Bogo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Van Asch.
Van Asch misses with a low kick.

Bogo throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

A looping hook to the body misses from Van Asch. Bogo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Van Asch loads up on a big right hand but Bogo slips the punch.
Van Asch scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Bogo throws a lazy head kick
and Van Asch counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bogo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Good work by Bogo as he checks the leg kick.
Bogo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Van Asch lands the left hand.
Van Asch scores with a nice right hand.
A telegraphed right hand from Van Asch misses the target.
And Bogo tries to counter it with a takedown but Van Asch pushes his down on his head and steps out.

and Bogo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bogo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Bogo wants to pass the guard but Van Asch is keeping the position.

Bogo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Van Asch is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bogo, into his guard.

Bogo is defending against the submission attempts here by Van Asch.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bogo manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Van Asch pushes down on Bogo's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Van Asch decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

and Bogo counters with a single leg into guard. Van Asch didn't expect that.

Bogo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Van Asch dives on top into guard.

Bogo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Van Asch defends well.

and Van Asch counters with a crisp one two that drops Bogo! Van Asch thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Bogo to his feet! Bogo is in big trouble!

Bogo is rocked!
Bogo tries to get into range but Van Asch steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Bogo! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Van Asch scores the big KO victory!
