Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Cordoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronnie Cordoza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Davis!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis keeps the fight on the outside.
Cordoza throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Davis sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cordoza swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Davis.

Cordoza throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Davis sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Cordoza is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Davis defends well.

Cordoza had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Davis is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cordoza Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Davis's back instead.

Ronnie Cordoza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Davis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cordoza to the mat! Cordoza manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cordoza wants to stand up but Davis is controlling him.
Cordoza bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Davis's guard.

Davis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cordoza has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Davis has managed to get both his arms back between Cordoza's legs - danger averted.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

I've got Davis winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
