PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Westlake (ranked 3249 p4p, 3437 weight class) and Colt Wagner (ranked 368 p4p, 379 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Westlake might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tek It (Sped Up). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner closes this distance looking for a takedown but Westlake circles away.

Westlake shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Westlake showed some decent athleticism there.

Wagner manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Westlake keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Wagner is covering up but some of the strikes from Westlake are getting through and doing damage.

Westlake is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Wagner has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Westlake has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Wagner taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Westlake doesn't care though - he's delighted!
