Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aleks Nik (ranked 70 p4p, 1028 weight class) and Toe Jam (ranked 10 p4p, 148 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aleks Nik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Toe Jam!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nik walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

We've been hearing reports that Nik has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aleks Nik.
