Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Noah Ortega!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tayaen Porfirigo!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortega misses with a wild body shot.
Ortega stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ortega wants it to stay on the feet.
Porfirigo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ortega.
Ortega moves into the clinch.
Ortega gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Ortega has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Our spies down at at MMA Training and Sparring Buddies inform us that Porfirigo has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Ortega sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Porfirigo's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Porfirigo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ortega's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ortega's back!
Ortega turns into Porfirigo and is now in his guard.
Ortega won't allow Porfirigo to get back to his feet.

Ortega wants to control from the top but Porfirigo keeps moving.
Ortega stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Porfirigo throws up his legs and catches Ortega in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Ortega tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Porfirigo! That came out of nowhere!
