Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Ngozi Chai (ranked 217 p4p, 1010 weight class) and Ibasour Sershurrapal (ranked 32 p4p, 129 weight class). Sershurrapal has chosen Smoking Snakes as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ibasour Sershurrapal has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ibasour Sershurrapal!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Dean Styles and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai darts in trying to clinch
and Sershurrapal connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chai ducks right into an uppercut from Sershurrapal.
We've been informed that Sershurrapal has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Chai missing with a left hand there. Sershurrapal was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Having scored a knockdown, Ibasour Sershurrapal should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2.

Ibasour Sershurrapal is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Sershurrapal has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
