Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rick Drew!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony Clifton!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jorge Garcia and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drew swings widly with a right hand
and Clifton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Rick Drew has been cut.
Clifton chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Clifton throws the kick towards the body but Drew avoids it.
Clifton moves out of range of the strikes.
Drew misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Clifton steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Drew misses with a left hand
and Clifton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Clifton connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Drew onto his butt! Drew bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Drew is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Drew misses with a body shot.
Drew misses with an uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Drew throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Clifton knocks out Drew with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Clifton before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Clifton picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tony Clifton!
