Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Guistan Othafaita (ranked 3348 p4p, 2751 weight class) and Conner Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 316 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chambers shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Othafaita pushes Chambers off but Chambers dives into side control.
Othafaita on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Othafaita tries to get out of the position.

Chambers is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Othafaita knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Chambers is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Othafaita is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Chambers remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

It looks like Chambers might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Chambers wants to control the pace but Othafaita is squirming around nicely.

We've been informed that Chambers has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Chambers tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Chambers goes for a double leg but Othafaita avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Othafaita continues to drive forward.

Chambers shoots in looking for a takedown. Othafaita tries to sprawl out of it but Chambers keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Othafaita manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Othafaita looks to land a right hand but Chambers moved out of range.

Othafaita cracks Chambers with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Chambers wants to clinch up but Othafaita keeps it at a distance.

Chambers darts in looking for a takedown but Othafaita gets double underhooks and turns Chambers into the cage.
Guistan Othafaita has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Conner Chambers.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chambers is defended easily by Othafaita.
Othafaita drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Chambers right on the button. Chambers goes down! Othafaita follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Othafaita gets the win via TKO!
