The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Keenan Jr paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Winner takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Keenan Jr lands with a kick to the temple. Winner shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Keenan Jr bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
As Winner looks to move away, Keenan Jr throws a big counter combo but Winner just gets out of the way.

Keenan Jr's corner calls for a 1-2. Keenan Jr obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Keenan Jr darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Winner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gareth Keenan Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Exotic Winner.

Winner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Keenan Jr manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

It looked like Keenan Jr was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
