Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Zane Yardow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Tomura Shigaraki!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shigaraki dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Shigaraki ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Yardow swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shigaraki.
Yardow throws a right hand that Shigaraki ducks under and follows up with a left that Shigaraki also avoids with ease.
Yardow blocks a low kick nicely.
Yardow swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Shigaraki thows a left - swing and a miss!
Shigaraki fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Yardow to the ground. Shigaraki is now in Yardow's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yardow wants to stand and escape but Shigaraki is having none of it.

Shigaraki chips away with some ground and pound.
Shigaraki prevents Yardow from getting back to his feet.
Shigaraki postures up in Yardow's guard and throws a big left but Yardow blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shigaraki working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Yardow on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yardow tries to get out of the position.

Shigaraki postures up and lands a big shot to Yardow's brow.
Yardow knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shigaraki on the ground.
Yardow wants to get back to his feet but Shigaraki is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Shigaraki throws a big right hand that misses.
Shigaraki stops Yardow from standing up.

Yardow avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Shigaraki.

Shigaraki cracks Yardow with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Shigaraki is putting a hurting on Yardow here, landing some big shots from side control.

Yardow is rocked!
Shigaraki lands a decent elbow from side control.

Yardow takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shigaraki lands a strong strike to the head of Yardow. That's dazed him! Shigaraki looking to finish here. Yardow is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Shigaraki lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
