Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Levi Daan (ranked 337 p4p, 856 weight class) and Ivan Raikov (ranked 48 p4p, 105 weight class). Raikov has chosen Back in the USSR as his entrance music. The key to victory for Levi Daan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Raikov!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daan tries to clinch but Raikov is having none of it.
Raikov pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Daan tries to close the distance and clinch but Raikov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
It seemed like Raikov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Raikov has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
