Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gareth Keenan Jr (ranked 5279 p4p, 4462 weight class) and Nico World Citizen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying World Citizen's choice of entrance music: Rich Bitch. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keenan Jr's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Keenan Jr duly obliges.
Keenan Jr moves into the clinch successfully.

World Citizen misses with a hook
and Keenan Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Keenan Jr bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
World Citizen throws a right hand that misses
and World Citizen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Keenan Jr moves into range and clinches up with World Citizen.
World Citizen tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Keenan Jr's elbow.
Keenan Jr manages to break the clinch.
World Citizen falls off balance throwing a combination

Keenan Jr throws a series of strikes that have World Citizen backpedaling.
Keenan Jr lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

and Keenan Jr counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Keenan Jr cracks World Citizen with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends World Citizen tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Keenan Jr pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! World Citizen is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gareth Keenan Jr!
