The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taoka's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Taoka duly obliges.

It looks like Omar Cheetos has been cut.
Taoka cracks Cheetos with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Taoka throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice combo by Taoka! Oh, that's hurt him - Cheetos falls to the canvas and Taoka follows him into side control.

Cheetos is rocked!

Taoka looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Taoka decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Cheetos tries for a takedown but Taoka sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Taoka waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Cheetos. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Cheetos to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Taoka is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Taoka laying and praying for a moment but Cheetos takes advantage and regains half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Kazuo Taoka just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Cheetos shoots for a double leg takedown but Taoka sprawls well. He's pushed Cheetos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Taoka lands with a straight right. Cheetos didn't see that one coming.

Taoka lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Cheetos is looking to close the distance but Taoka sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Cheetos crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Cheetos is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
