The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Torrecilla Arrieta clinches up with Van Der Sloot and pushes him back against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Torrecilla Arrieta takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Van Der Sloot jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Torrecilla Arrieta walks away with a smile on his face. Van Der Sloot gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Manuel Torrecilla Arrieta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Torrecilla Arrieta moves into the clinch.
Torrecilla Arrieta prevents the takedown attempt.
Torrecilla Arrieta cracks Van Der Sloot with a nice body shot.

Torrecilla Arrieta escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Van Der Sloot dives in for a single leg takedown but Torrecilla Arrieta sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Manuel Torrecilla Arrieta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viktor Van Der Sloot.
Horrible takedown attempt by Van Der Sloot or perhaps it was just good defense by Torrecilla Arrieta, which made it look bad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Van Der Sloot drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Van Der Sloot jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Torrecilla Arrieta is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Van Der Sloot wants to control from the top but Torrecilla Arrieta keeps moving.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Van Der Sloot drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Van Der Sloot seems to have locked his on tight now - Torrecilla Arrieta screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Van Der Sloot, as he picks up the win!
