Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rhashaun Kinkead (ranked 1138 p4p, 842 weight class) and Rustam Kadurov (ranked 162 p4p, 121 weight class). Rhashaun Kinkead could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rustam Kadurov's chin.

With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rhashaun Kinkead!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rustam Kadurov!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kadurov lunges at Kinkead with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kinkead's hand.
Kinkead misses the shot to the body.
Kadurov now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Kinkead looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Kinkead is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kinkead wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kadurov keeps working.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kadurov is refusing to be controlled, as Kinkead sits in half guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kinkead cracks Kadurov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kadurov scores with a body shot.
Kinkead cracks Kadurov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Kadurov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kinkead did well to prevent Kadurov getting side control.

The fighters are battling for position here. Kinkead manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Kadurov wants to control from the top but Kinkead keeps moving.

Kinkead is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kinkead escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kadurov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kadurov in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Kinkead has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kadurov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kadurov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Rhashaun Kinkead will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kadurov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kinkead as he jumps to the side.
Kinkead throws a sloppy head kick and Kadurov moves out of range easily.
Kinkead avoids the body shot from Kadurov.
Kinkead will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kinkead is on top in guard.

Kinkead stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kadurov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kadurov lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Kadurov is trying to stick to Kinkead's back but Kinkead is turning into Kadurov. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kadurov's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kinkead.

Kinkead throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kadurov.

Kinkead walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Kadurov lands with a nice combination. Kinkead backs away looking to recover.

Rustam Kadurov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kadurov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
