Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nico World Citizen (ranked 2596 p4p, 4054 weight class) and Mark Jackacy (ranked 0 p4p, 396 weight class). World Citizen comes to the cage accompanied by Rich Bitch. Jackacy has chosen Nkolo Akosunga - Lokua Kanza as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackacy throws a quick head kick that skims the top of World Citizen's head.
Jackacy lands a glancing blow to the side of World Citizen's head.
World Citizen takes one to the side of the head.
World Citizen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Jackacy closes the distance and clinches.
World Citizen misses with a body punch.
Jackacy gets through World Citizen's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Jackacy scores with a nice hook to the head.
A nice left hand lands by Jackacy.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jackacy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Let's hope that Jackacy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Jackacy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed World Citizen's guard.

World Citizen is looking to control Jackacy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can World Citizen avoid being mounted?

We've been informed that Jackacy has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Jackacy seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

and Jackacy counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Jackacy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jackacy showed some decent athleticism there.
Jackacy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Jackacy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but World Citizen sees it coming and defends easily.
Jackacy slows the pace down in half guard.
Jackacy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yet more stalling tactics from Jackacy.
World Citizen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackacy on the ground.

Jackacy works his foot free and advances to mount.
Jackacy pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Jackacy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. World Citizen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Jackacy looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Jackacy lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

World Citizen is looking to improve his position but Jackacy isn't that keen on the idea.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jackacy breaks from World Citizen's wrist control and lands an elbow.
World Citizen is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jackacy cracks World Citizen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jackacy prevents World Citizen from getting the reversal.
Jackacy lands a couple of good shots and World Citizen has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

A relieved looking Mark Jackacy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
