Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eli Pope (ranked 722 p4p, 1129 weight class) and Jello Belly (ranked 100 p4p, 148 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eli Pope!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jello Belly!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope swings widly with a right hand
and Belly decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pope's guard.
Belly tries to free his leg and advance position but Pope is retaining full guard.
Pope keeping moving, preventing Belly from controlling successfully.
Belly might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pope haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Pope tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Belly drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pope manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Belly has Pope in his guard.
Belly wants to sweep here but Pope controlling him for the moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Belly trying to keep a closed guard but Pope is proving a slippery customer.
Pope is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Belly is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Belly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Belly throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pope slips a straight right by Belly.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Pope throws the kick towards the body but Belly avoids it.
As Pope backs off Belly throws a huge counter combo but Pope manages to avoid it all.
Belly gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Pope stops a takedown attempt from Belly.
A nice left hand lands by Pope.

Belly blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Pope stays in close to Belly's body and controls the position.
Belly lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Belly throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A little feinted left hand from Pope on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Belly takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pope keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Belly.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Belly tries to clinch but Pope is having none of it.
Belly lands the left hand.
Pope changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Belly is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Belly jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Belly has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Belly cracks Pope with a right hand to the side of the head.

The crowd cheers as Pope lands an impressive looking overhand right. Belly doesn't seem phased though.
Belly clinches up with Pope and pushes him back against the cage.
Belly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jello Belly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belly looks to score with a jab to the body but Pope is just out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Belly throws a combination that misses
and Pope counters with a good low kick that Belly was not able to check.
Belly with a nice cross.
Belly stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Pope jabs Belly right on the nose. Belly blinks but takes it well.
Donk. Pope catches Belly right on the button with a cross.
Belly has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

and Pope counters with an inside leg kick.
Belly feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Popes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Pope avoids the body shot from Belly.
A looping hook to the body misses from Belly. Pope does a little dance to reset his feet.
Belly misses with a few strikes there.
Pope is looking for a counter combo.
Pope throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pope walks into a stiff left hand from Belly.
Pope uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Belly.
Belly takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Belly throws a nice looking combination but Pope bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Good exchange - Pope coming out on top.

Belly wants to clinch but Pope slips to the side
and Pope counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Belly is still on wobbly legs! Can Pope finish him?

Pope showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Belly.
It looked like Pope wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Pope plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Belly swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Belly face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Eli Pope!
A relieved looking Eli Pope thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Jello Belly had this to say: 'I'm hungry'.
