PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Bradley (ranked 500 p4p, 351 weight class) and Noel Diaz (ranked 67 p4p, 50 weight class). Bradley comes to the cage accompanied by Sudbury Saturday Night. Diaz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Stockton Slap Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Derrick Bradley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Noel Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been told by Bradley's head coaches at FIGHT FOUNDERS (CA) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Diaz has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Diaz working for submissions but it's allowed Bradley to get to half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Diaz is looking for a sweep. Bradley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Diaz has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
