Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Leao (ranked 5676 p4p, 3933 weight class) and Gyukosho Fujimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 442 weight class). Fujimoto has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gyukosho Fujimoto was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 44 - 28 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gyukosho Fujimoto!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujimoto chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Leao can pounce on him.
A left lands for Leao.
Leandro Leao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fujimoto looks winded!
Fujimoto takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Leao lands a big uppercut and Fujimoto crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Fujimoto looks OK. Leao waves Fujimoto back to his feet!
It looks like Gyukosho Fujimoto has been cut.
Fujimoto chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Leao can pounce on him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leao cracks Fujimoto with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Fujimoto tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Leao pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Fujimoto is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leandro Leao!
