Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dick Pawlik (ranked 2119 p4p, 5816 weight class) and Gino Gambini (ranked 0 p4p, 321 weight class). Pawlik's entrance music is John Butler - Ocean . A fine choice. Gambini is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Greedy BD - Mobcutmuzik. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Gambini is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Let's hope that Gambini has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pawlik is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gambini is on top in guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dick Pawlik will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Gambini felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dick Pawlik.
