This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Lucas Van Den Broeck! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Paddy Lee!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Van Den Broeck as he jumps to the side.
Lee shoots for a takedown but Van Den Broeck saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Van Den Broeck tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Van Den Broeck somewhat.
Van Den Broeck misses with a takedown attempt - Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Van Den Broeck shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lee wants to free his trapped foot but Van Den Broeck is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Lee seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Van Den Broeck looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
