The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez defending well as Davis loads up on a big left hand.
Davis misses with a straight left.
Good shot there by Davis.
Lopez misses with a looping right.
Lopez looks to score with a jab to the body but Davis is just out of range.
Lopez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Davis.
Lopez now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Davis connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Paco Lopez has been cut.
Lopez swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Davis counter with a right hand.
Lopez is rocked!
Lopez just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lopez avoids the body shot from Davis.
Davis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Davis moves out of range of the strikes.
Lopez swings away with a body shot that misses
and Davis counters with a nice right hand that sends Lopez toppling to the canvas! Lopez scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Davis finish him?!

Lopez looks to land a right hand but Davis moved out of range.

Lopez takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Davis is stalking Lopez. Lopez circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Davis, and it's lights out! Lopez really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
