Mazepin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. boom kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 37 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fedor Mazepin!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazepin tries to clinch up.
Mazepin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Radar. Radar obviously looking to wear him down.
Radar connects with a single shot there.

Radar forces Mazepin back against the cage and clinches.
Radar stalling in the clinch.

Radar manages to break the clinch.

Radar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mazepin tries to pull guard but Radar forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Mazepin wants to take the fight to the mat but Radar manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Mazepin tries for a takedown but Radar manages to get underhooks.
Max Radar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Mazepin.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Fedor Mazepin has been cut.

A nice left hand lands by Radar.
Radar lands a nice shot to the body.
Radar makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Radar works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Mazepin looks winded!
Still in the clinch, Radar scores with a nice short uppercut.
Radar lands with a right to the head.
Radar lands a body punch in the clinch.
A short uppercut from Radar.
A short left from Radar.
Radar lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Radar just leaning against Mazepin, taking a breather.
Mazepin has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Radar after a bit of a struggle.

A right hook to the body lands for Radar.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Radar takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Radar lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Radar lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mazepin backwards.
I was talking to Radar's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Radar lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Mazepin.
A short right from Radar.
Radar makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Mazepin is rocked!

That has opened up Fedor Mazepin's cut even more.
Radar scores with a nice hook to the head.
Mazepin is still on wobbly legs! Can Radar finish him?
Radar lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mazepin backwards.
Radar unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Mazepin! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Radar is unloading with more strikes now! Mazepin drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Radar!
An out of breath Max Radar thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Fedor Mazepin spoke after the fight, saying 'until next time'.
