The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts looks to throw the jab but Mei is out of range.

Mei drops Roberts with a nice combination! Mei dives into Roberts's guard, looking to finish!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roberts has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Mei has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Mei gets to his feet - Roberts follows without any prompting.
Roberts uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mei.
A nice side step and Roberts releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Roberts on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mei scores with a shot to the body.

Mei lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mei misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mei connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Roberts is rocked!
Roberts ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mei moves away.
Roberts is still on wobbly legs! Can Mei finish him?
Mei lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Roberts crumples to the floor! Mei milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
