Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sigurd Knutsson (ranked 3186 p4p, 3354 weight class) and Haiden Surz (ranked 351 p4p, 372 weight class). Knutsson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is war drums. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sigurd Knutsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Haiden Surz!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knutsson fails with a takedown attempt.
Surz replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Knutsson blocks it well.
Knutsson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Surz napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Surz bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Surz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Knutsson has managed to clinch.
Knutsson decides to pull guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Surz stopping the sweep attempt from Knutsson.
Surz wants to stand but Knutsson is controlling his posture from full guard.
Surz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knutsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Surz trying to control the position from guard on top but Knutsson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Surz gets to his feet. Knutsson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Knutsson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Surz swivels and escapes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Surz lands a head kick!
Knutsson shoots in but Surz avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sigurd Knutsson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Surz gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Oh but Knutsson is tightening it up a little... Surz has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Surz reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Surz taps out! Nice BJJ there by Knutsson!
