Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iso Susi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timo Silakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silakka drops back, looking for a kneebar! Susi looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Susi looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Susi!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

No joy there for Silakka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Susi shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Silakka manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Silakka had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Susi is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silakka Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Susi's back instead.
Silakka is trying to stick to Susi's back but Susi is turning into Silakka. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Silakka's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Susi.
Susi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silakka has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Susi has managed to get both his arms back between Silakka's legs - danger averted.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Susi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
