Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Klay Dee (ranked 2751 p4p, 2416 weight class) and Rufino Gracie (ranked 195 p4p, 171 weight class). Dee kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Death Patrol by Destroyer. Rufino Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 40 - 25 - 0, fighting out of New York, Klay Dee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rufino Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dee tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gracie now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Good standup being displayed there by Dee as he connects with a hook.
Gracie moves out of range of the strikes.
Gracie looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Dee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gracie throws out the jab.

Gracie dodges the punch combination from Dee.
Dee scores with a hook.
Gracie walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie checks the leg kick nicely there.

Gracie moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A jab from Gracie misses.
Dee throws a shot to the body.
Dee misses with a left hand
enabling Gracie to counter with a crisp jab.
Dee throws a big shot that misses.
A jab from Dee finds it's way through Gracie's defenses.
Gracie showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dee.
Dee throws an overhand right that lands on Gracie's shoulder, as Gracie tries to avoid the shot.
Dee misses with a jab to the body
and Dee takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A head kick from Dee lands but Gracie takes it in his stride.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gracie lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dee throws a lazy head kick
and Gracie counters with a good low kick that Dee was not able to check.
Dee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dee throws a lazy uppercut
and Gracie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dee swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gracie counters with a huge left! Dee is in big trouble! He's backing up but Gracie isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Dee from any more damage. A dominating finish by Gracie!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rufino Gracie!
Rufino Gracie seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
