Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Torick Oddgeir (ranked 4380 p4p, 2521 weight class) and Jun Liu (ranked 194 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oddgeir manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Liu on his heels. He'll look to pass Liu's guard now, I'm sure.
Oddgeir might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Oddgeir stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Liu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Oddgeir shoots in for a double leg but Liu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Liu takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Oddgeir shoots in but Liu avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Oddgeir takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Liu scores with a head kick. Oddgeir tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Liu fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Oddgeir on the side of the head.
Liu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Liu lands a nice hook to Oddgeir's body. Oddgeir takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

A nice inside leg kick there by Liu. That's going to slow Oddgeir down.
Oddgeir takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jun Liu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oddgeir shoots for a takedown but Liu saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Liu bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Oddgeir steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Liu. That one must have hurt.
Liu lands a big head kick that sends Oddgeir to the canvas! Liu follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
