Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Crespo (ranked 2980 p4p, 3747 weight class) and Inca Valero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valero lands a right hook to the body.
Crespo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Crespo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Crespo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Valero.
Crespo is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Valero throws a shot from downtown. Crespo moves away and avoids it.
Valero throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Valero comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Crespo ducks under a wild hook from Valero.
A jab from Valero misses.
A quick step to the side and Crespo tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Valero fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Valero feints with a jab and clips Crespo right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Crespo is sent crashing into the canvas and Valero leaps in for the kill! Crespo tries to get to his feet but Valero is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Crespo is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Inca Valero!
