Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darth Vitor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spanky Panky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vitor's entrance music is Darth Vader's Theme. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panky lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Vitor closes the distance and clinches up with Panky, looking for a takedown. Vitor pushes Panky against the ropes but Panky circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Panky takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Vitor is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Panky.
Panky throws a nice looking combination but Vitor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Vitor seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Panky throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vitor slips a jab and a cross from Panky.
Vitor pivots, looking for a leg kick but Panky is out of range and Vitor settles back down.

Panky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Vitor counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nice defenses there by Panky.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vitor, as that shot connected.
Panky rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vitor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Vitor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Panky circles away quickly and effectively.
Vitor avoids a kick to the body.
Horrible takedown by Vitor or perhaps it was just good defense by Panky which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darth Vitor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Panky stuffs the takedown attempt from Vitor. Vitor gets slowly back to his feet.

Panky throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Spanky Panky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Vitor lands with a nice body punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Vitor throws a series of punches but Panky moves out of range.

Vitor throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Panky stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Vitor stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Vitor swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Panky.
Vitor connects with a body shot.
Vitor misses with a low kick.
Vitor throws a shot to the body.
Panky takes one on the button.
Vitor connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vitor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Panky uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vitor.
Panky misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vitor thumps Panky with a low kick.
Panky dodges the punch combination from Vitor.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Vitor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Vitor slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Vitor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Panky uses the ropes to get back to his feet.
Vitor takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Vitor connects with a solid leg kick.
Vitor connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Vitor cracks Panky with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Panky is breathing heavily.
Vitor pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Vitor is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Darth Vitor is winning the standup battle so far.
Vitor catches Panky with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Vitor lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Panky drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Vitor lands a head kick. Panky smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Vitor ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Vitor fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vitor tests Panky's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Vitor drops Panky with a straight right hand, right on the button! Vitor follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
