Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takashi Morimoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ogunkeye Igwe!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morimoto shoots for a takedown but Igwe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Igwe misses with an uppercut. Morimoto saw that one coming.
Igwe throws a hook to the side of Morimoto's head but Morimoto sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Morimoto displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Igwe throws out the jab.
Morimoto uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Igwe.
Igwe jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Morimoto on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Takashi Morimoto has been cut.
Morimoto tries for a takedown but Igwe sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Igwe throws a hook to the side of Morimoto's head but Morimoto sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Morimoto fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takashi Morimoto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A swing and a miss from Igwe.
Morimoto fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Igwe stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Morimoto takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Igwe displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Morimoto.

Morimoto drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Morimoto wants to lay and pray for a moment but Igwe keeps working.
Igwe is trying to improve his position.
Morimoto lands a nice forearm strike.
Igwe takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Morimoto is putting a hurting on Igwe here, landing some big shots from side control.
The strikes coming from Morimoto are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Check out the look on Morimoto's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Morimoto is working Igwe over with some ground and pound from side control.
Igwe takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Igwe can do anything to dispel that myth.
Igwe takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Igwe is still in real trouble! Can Morimoto finish him?

Morimoto in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Igwe looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Morimoto turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
