Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Quentin Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelvin Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker has chosen Armin Van Buren - Sail as his entrance music. Quentin Santos had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kelvin Parker!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Bruno Lombardi and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Santos swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Santos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.


It looks like Quentin Santos has been cut.
Parker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Santos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Parker walks away with a smile on his face. Santos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Santos had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Parker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Santos Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Parker's back instead.
