PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kazuma Kiryu (ranked 282 p4p, 319 weight class) and Kiryu Kazuma (ranked 38 p4p, 42 weight class). Kazuma comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Uroko by Dir En Grey kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Kazuma misses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kiryu, as that shot connected.
Kiryu slips under a jab from Kazuma.
Kiryu is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Kazuma Kiryu has been cut.
Kazuma throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kiryu's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kazuma connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kiryu scrambles back to his feet.
Kazuma cracks Kiryu's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Kiryu slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Kazuma can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kiryu Kazuma!
In his post fight interview, Kiryu Kazuma started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
