The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedorov looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Fedorov bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sully's head backwards.
Sully chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fedorov can pounce on him.
Fedorov just misses with a punch to the body.
Fedorov throws a body punch but Sully moves out of range.
Sully moves forwards but Fedorov connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Fedorov ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fedorov wants to clinch but Sully slips to the side
and Sully connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fedorov jabs Sully to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Sully cracks Fedorov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Fedorov throws a leg kick which misses Sully's front leg but catches the back leg as Sully tries to avoid it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fedorov now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Sully looks to land a left hand but Fedorov moved out of range nicely.
Fedorov connects with a nice looking jab.

Fedorov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sully closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Sully uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fedorov.
We've been hearing reports that Sully has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Sully bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sully is looking for a counter combo.

Fedorov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sully.

Sully ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fedorov moves away.
Sully on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Fedorov connects with an inside leg kick.
Fedorov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sully's hands.
Sully slips under a jab.
Fedorov throws an overhand right that lands on Sully's shoulder, as Sully tries to avoid the shot.
Sully tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Sully connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fedorov. Fedorov circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Fedorov throws a leg kick which misses Sully's front leg but catches the back leg as Sully tries to avoid it.

and Fedorov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fedorov with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fedorov is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Sully had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Sully drops his hands momentarily and Fedorov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Fedorov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sully stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fedorov scores with a head kick. Sully tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Fedorov scores with a hook to the body. Sully takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Fedorov has taken the fight to the clinch.

Fedorov gets through Sully's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Fedorov lands with a light punch inside.
Fedorov lands a hook that snaps the head of Sully backwards.

Sully is rocked!
Sully tries to throw a body punch but Fedorov avoids it by throwing Sully back against the cage.
Oh Sully is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fedorov throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Fedorov has a couple of punches blocked by Sully.
Fedorov lands with a light punch inside.
Sully wants to break free but Fedorov has control.

Sully manages to break the clinch.
Fedorov tests Sully's chin there with a solid looking shot.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Nathan Fedorov dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Fedorov pounces like a tiger and cracks Sully with a vicious hook! Sully is down but not out! Fedorov follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Nathan Fedorov decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
