The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piercer shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nyla eats them both and turns towards Piercer to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Nyla throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Piercer chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Piercer throws a head kick that misses.
Good shot there by Piercer.
Nyla avoids the head kick by Piercer.
Nyla throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Piercer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Piercer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Piercer throws a leg kick that is checked
and Nyla counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like John Piercer has been cut.
Nyla scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Nyla throws a good cross that connects.
The fighters circling - Nyla throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Piercer bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nyla's head.
Piercer connects with a body shot that sends Nyla's belly button to the back.
Piercer jabs Nyla right on the nose. Nyla blinks but takes it well.
Piercer throws the kick towards the body but Nyla avoids it.
Nyla throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A little feinted left hand from Piercer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Nyla stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Piercer is rocked!
Nice defenses there by Nyla.
Piercer slips a straight right by Nyla.
Nyla has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Piercer misses the jab.
Piercer throws the kick towards the body but Nyla avoids it.
Nyla takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Nyla throws the left hand but Piercer avoids the punch easily.
Piercer quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Nyla ducks under a wild hook from Piercer.
Nyla avoids the head kick by Piercer.
It seemed like Nyla was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A thudding body kick lands there by Piercer!
Nyla ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Piercer is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Piercer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nyla to score with a decent uppercut.
Oh Piercer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Piercer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Piercer gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Nyla gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
