Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rogerio Yamamoto (ranked 934 p4p, 1268 weight class) and Amakusa Saneuji (ranked 85 p4p, 118 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Amakusa Saneuji!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saneuji shoots and misses
and Yamamoto counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Saneuji fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yamamoto avoids it really well and circles away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Saneuji or perhaps it was just good defense by Yamamoto, which made it look bad.
Rogerio Yamamoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amakusa Saneuji.
Saneuji shoots in but Yamamoto avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Yamamoto appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Saneuji bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Saneuji has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at 3Band MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
