The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Smith.
Smith throws a jab but it's blocked by Mandiang.
Smith staying out of range there.
Smith clobbers Mandiang with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mandiang walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mandiang throws a head kick that misses.
A left lands for Smith.
Mandiang connects with a jab.
Mandiang connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Smith momentarily.
Smith is looking to land body kicks.
Nice jab there from Mandiang.
Bryant Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mandiang throws a hook but Smith avoids it easily.
Smith misses with a body shot.
Smith cracks Mandiang with an open hand slap.
Mandiang throws an overhand right that lands on Smith's shoulder, as Smith tries to avoid the shot.
Smith scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Aboubacar Mandiang has been cut.
Smith tries to score with a low kick but Mandiang moves his leg out of the way.
Mandiang moves out of range of the strikes.
Smith stuns Mandiang with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mandiang throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily.
Smith connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Smith slips under a jab from Mandiang.
Mandiang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it.
Mandiang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smith chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Smith misses the jab.
Smith lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mandiang at a distance.
Smith scores with a nice head shot.
Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Mandiang moves out of range easily.
Smith connects with an inside leg kick.
Smith blocks a jab.
Smith misses with a straight left.
Mandiang is looking to counter punch.
Smith throws a looping overhand right but Mandiang ducks down to avoid it.
Mandiang throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Smith walks into a jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Mandiang darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mandiang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mandiang rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Smith connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mandiang swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mandiang scores with a nice head shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A jab from Mandiang finds it's way through Smith's defenses.
Smith tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith throws a half hearted mid kick.
Crunch! Smith slams his shin into Mandiang's torso.
Smith misses with a body punch
and Mandiang counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Smith! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aboubacar Mandiang!
