Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Andrade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roque Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Andrade might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to . The crowd seem to be enjoying Alexander's choice of entrance music: Changes - 2Pac. Roque Alexander has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Andrade wants to work for an arm triangle but Alexander is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Andrade looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Andrade has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Andrade is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Alexander defends it well.
Alexander has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Andrade is working away from the top position though.

Alexander shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Andrade's guard.
Alexander is looking to work some ground and pound but Andrade has wrist control.
Alexander tries to free his leg and advance position but Andrade is retaining full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alexander accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Alexander wanted to stand there but Andrade had control of the position.

Andrade had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Alexander is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Andrade Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Alexander's back instead.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Andrade has the hooks in. Alexander is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Andrade passes his arm under Alexander's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Alexander taps!
