Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jaylen Welsh (ranked 5612 p4p, 2993 weight class) and Bubble Shrimp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jaylen Welsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Bubble Shrimp!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shrimp closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Shrimp lands a nice uppercut.
A nice left hand lands by Shrimp.
The referee calls for Shrimp to work.
Welsh is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Shrimp to keep the fight standing.
Shrimp struggles to land a body shot inside as Welsh controls his hands.
Welsh is looking to break free of the clinch but Shrimp has double underhooks.
Welsh has Shrimp pressed against the cage, preventing Shrimp from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Welsh tries to pull guard but Shrimp holds him up against the cage and eventually Welsh drops back down to his feet.

Shrimp escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shrimp looks to score with a jab to the body but Welsh is just out of range.
Welsh tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Shrimp manages to circle out of the way.
Shrimp throws a body punch but Welsh moves out of range.
Decent striking displayed by Shrimp there.
Welsh shoots in but Shrimp avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jaylen Welsh. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Welsh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shrimp.
Shrimp lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Welsh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shrimp as he jumps to the side.
Welsh shoots in for a double leg but Shrimp sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Welsh clinches up with Shrimp and pushes him back against the cage.
Shrimp blocks a body shot from Welsh.
Shrimp softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Shrimp lands an uppercut.

Shrimp's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sloppy strikes from Shrimp. Those never looked like landing.
Welsh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shrimp as he jumps to the side.
A countering left hand to the body from Shrimp misses.

Oooooh!!! Shrimp has knocked Welsh down with a huge combo! Shrimp steps away and waves a wobbly Welsh back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shrimp gets in close and tags Welsh with a short punch that almost sends Welsh to the mat! Oh Welsh is in big trouble! He turns his back on Shrimp, trying to create some distance but Shrimp rushes him, striking wildly and Welsh goes down! The referee tackles Shrimp into the cage to end the fight! Shrimp is one violent man!
