Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy Gavin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 26 - 0, fighting out of London, Bjj Catch Wrestler!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Gavin as he connects with a hook.
Catch Wrestler shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gavin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gavin takes a swing at Catch Wrestler's ribcage but misses.
Catch Wrestler tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Catch Wrestler lands a lovely overhand right.
Catch Wrestler has a takedown stuffed.
Gavin was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Gavin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Catch Wrestler darts in looking for a takedown but Gavin gets double underhooks and turns Catch Wrestler into the cage.

Catch Wrestler gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Catch Wrestler is fighting to break Gavin's control of his arms but Gavin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Gavin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Catch Wrestler throws an elbow that misses. Gavin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Catch Wrestler's guard. Nice move by Gavin!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Catch Wrestler is on top in guard.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gavin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Gavin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Catch Wrestler manages to avoid it.

I would just about give that final round to Bjj Catch Wrestler.
