Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Martin Bhullar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kalliste Epharez!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Epharez wants to clinch but Bhullar slips to the side

and Bhullar counters with a single leg into guard. Epharez didn't expect that.
Epharez is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Bhullar dives into side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Epharez wants to control but Bhullar is having none of it.
Epharez is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bhullar tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Epharez can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bhullar looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Epharez tries to hold on but Bhullar postures up.
Bhullar looking to control and managing it successfully.
Bhullar seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Epharez for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Epharez tries to reverse the position but Bhullar maintains control.

Epharez is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bhullar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Epharez fails to land with a series of punches.
Epharez just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromBhullar.
Epharez wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Epharez waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bhullar.
Bhullar lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Epharez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bhullar moves away.
Bhullar takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bhullar uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Epharez.
Bhullar throws a big counter combination but Epharez scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Epharez throws a poor cross that misses
and Bhullar counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Epharez is looking to score with low kicks.
As Epharez looks to move away, Bhullar throws a big counter combo but Epharez just gets out of the way.
Epharez works the jab nicely.

and Bhullar counters with a nice uppercut.

and Bhullar counters with a huge left! Epharez is in big trouble! He's backing up but Bhullar isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Epharez from any more damage. A dominating finish by Bhullar!
