Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aku Serronen (ranked 2018 p4p, 1590 weight class) and Vlad Tepes lV (ranked 275 p4p, 219 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vlad Tepes lV!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Tepes lV misses.
Tepes lV lands with an uppercut that bounces Serronen off the cage and back into range.
Serronen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Tepes lV lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tepes lV is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Serronen is trying to control the action in half guard but Tepes lV is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Serronen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tepes lV defends it easily.
