The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy circles away from the clinch attempt.

Nontchev decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Nontchev is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Boy defends it well.

Nontchev goes for an armbar but Boy turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Boy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nontchev trying to keep a closed guard but Boy is proving a slippery customer.

Nontchev is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Boy defends well.
Boy wants to get up but he can't break Nontchev's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Nontchev trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Boy content just to control the position here.
Nontchev is desperately trying to improve his position but Boy has a good base and remains in mount.

Boy prevents Nontchev from getting the reversal.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nontchev is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters circling - Boy throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Boy lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Nontchev crumples to the floor! Boy milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
